One unified school management system for West Africa

Lekkol runs your whole school — pupils, attendance, grades, report cards, fees, etc. — in English, French, and Arabic. Built for schools in Sierra Leone, Guinea, and Liberia, on any phone, tablet or computer.

  • Runs with no internet
  • Built for 2G and any phone
  • WAEC out of 100 and /20 with coefficients
  • True right-to-left Arabic
  • Records stay on the school's own machine

Everything the school office does

Twelve modules, one record — every part reads the same pupil.

  • Pupils & families

Records, ID cards, photos, guardians, health — the register everything else reads.

  • Admissions

Applications, decisions and the register in one flow — a family applies from a phone, the office decides.

  • Attendance

Daily registers by class, patterns over time, staff attendance beside the pupils'.

  • Marks & report cards

WAEC and French-system grading, term reports, transcripts — printed in the language the family reads.

  • Fees & receipts

Fee structures, instalments, arrears and printable receipts — with Orange Money and Afrimoney in the flow.

  • Timetables

Periods, rooms and teacher loads with clash detection — printable per class or per teacher.

  • Family portal

Parents see attendance, marks, fees and events from any phone — and hear from the school first.

  • Staff, HR & payroll

Contracts, duties, leave, appraisals, staff attendance and payslips — the staff file the office keeps.

  • Boarding & transport

Houses with their rolls and keepers, routes with their stops and drivers — the roll call and the ride check.

  • Library & canteen

A catalogue with loans, and a canteen with menus, orders and family allergy records.

  • The cash book

Any income or expense, headings, accounts and transfers, with a statement an auditor can read — free, like the fee ledger.

  • Ḥifẓ & Qurʼanic study

Memorisation on the muṣḥaf map, recitation logs and ijāza papers for daaras and madrasas.

Free to run a school. Paid to connect one.

Registering and accepting the charter come first — the download page walks you through both.

The rule: anything a school needs to run a school is free. What is paid for is reach — other machines, families' phones, Lekkol's own staff.

Free, on the school's machine

  • Pupils & families
  • Admissions
  • Attendance
  • Marks & report cards
  • Fees & receipts
  • Timetables
  • The cash book
  • Ḥifẓ & Qurʼanic study

Anything a school needs to run a school day is free, forever: the register, marks, the timetable, report cards, printing, the fee ledger and the cash book, the school’s own documents. One machine, offline, no account with us, no expiry, no pupil limit — the records live on the school’s computer, and they are the school’s.

Paid, to connect and to reach

  • Sync between machines
  • Messaging families
  • Exam generator, online
  • Family portal
  • Staff, HR & payroll
  • Boarding & transport
  • Library & canteen

What is paid for is reach and scale — the parts that carry a school past the people it employs: the family portal, messaging, sync between machines — and specialist modules a school day does not depend on. The test for anything new is simple: if a school cannot finish a school day without it, it is never sold.

How a school starts

Three steps, no card required.

  1. 1

    Download and run

Install on one computer and run the whole office offline, free forever — no account, no expiry.

  2. 2

    Register and accept the charter

When you want more than one machine, register the school and read the charter — it says what we may never do with your records.

  3. 3

    Connect when ready

Connect to sync between machines, open the family portal and add the modules you choose — priced per country, per term.

Built primarily for the Mano River Union

Three countries, three currencies, three languages — one app that is honest with all of them.

  • Sierra LeoneSLE · WAEC · out of 100
  • GuineaGNF · French system · /20 with coefficients
  • LiberiaLRD · WAEC · out of 100

Built where the conditions are hardest — and it runs anywhere they are. A school elsewhere picks “another country” at registration and names its own classes and terms.

Fully offline

Power cuts and data prices are design inputs, not surprises.

Any device

A phone, a tablet or the office computer — the same records.

Three languages

English, French and Arabic with true right-to-left — not a translation bolted on.

Trying it at a real school

You can create an account and start today — nobody's permission is needed. But if you would rather talk first, or you are willing to tell us what your school calls its classes, its terms and its records, we would like to hear from you. That last part is the one thing we cannot look up.
